Start your rehabilitation treatments by following these 4 steps

  1. Notify your employer or immediate supervisor about the accident
  2. Seek prompt medical attention, even if the injury appears minor. Your healthcare professional will provide you with a medical certificate that will be used to justify your absence from work, if necessary, and to open your file with the CNESST (the provincial commission for standards, equity, health and safety at work). Depending on your condition, your doctor may recommend physiotherapy, occupational therapy and/or acupuncture treatments.
  3. Complete the CNESST worker's claim.
  4. Contact us at 1 855 743-9872 to schedule your first appointment.

How many sessions are covered by the CNESST?

Your therapist will reassess your condition periodically and determine, in collaboration with your doctor, how many sessions are necessary for your recovery.

Are all services offered in the same clinic?

Most of the time, yes You can consult the list of services available in each of our clinics or contact us for more information.

I have already started physiotherapy treatments elsewhere. Can I still get occupational therapy or acupuncture at PhysioExtra?

Yes. If your doctor recommends occupational therapy or acupuncture, you can undertake these treatments at PhysioExtra while continuing the physiotherapy treatments at another establishment.
