Dr. Martin Rivest, MD, CFPC(MU), F.C.M.C, is a physician at the PhysioExtra clinic in Lachenaie. He also practices at the GMF-R Polyclinique médicale Pierre-Le Gardeur.
He holds a Certificate of Added Competence in Emergency Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada as well as the title of Fellow of the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
After working in the emergency department for 14 years and in critical care for 13 years, he has redirected much of his practice to sports medicine and Musculoskeletal medicine. To do so, he has Completed several training courses in this field while perfecting his skills in ultrasound-guided infiltration. He recently obtained the title of independent practitioner in Musculoskeletal ultrasound from the CPoCUS (Canadian Point of Care Ultrasound Society).
A lifelong sports enthusiast, he has a keen interest in the various injuries of the Musculoskeletal system, both athletic and occupational.
