Developing a strong and inspiring corporate culture

For 28 years, we’ve been building a corporate culture grounded in strong values and concrete actions. It’s a vibrant culture, brought to life every day by the 600 members of our network—each with their own background, personality, and reality.

Over the past year, Groupe PhysioExtra has strengthened its commitment to fostering a human and enriching workplace culture, focused on innovation and individual well-being. To support our growth, we took a proactive step in shaping this unique culture through several concrete initiatives, including the creation of a Chief Culture Officer role and the launch of two flagship initiatives: the Culture Camp and the Culture Book.

The role of the Chief Culture Officer

The Chief Culture Officer’s mission is to nurture and sustain an environment where every member of Team-X feels valued, heard, and supported. This role is vital in inspiring our collective commitment to the values and principles that bring us together—such as mutual support, active listening, and our passion for excellence in rehabilitation.

“Our culture is much more than a work environment—it’s our shared compass. It guides our decisions, inspires our actions, and fuels our ambition to redefine rehabilitation standards. By investing in it fully, we’re not just preparing for the future—we’re shaping it in alignment with our values and our desire to make a real, lasting impact on people’s lives.” — Marco Raffis, Chief Culture Officer, Groupe PhysioExtra

A first-ever Culture Book

Our Culture Book captures the essence of PhysioExtra through powerful stories, shared values, meaningful rituals, and common goals that guide us daily. By redefining our cultural pillars, we’ve clarified 14 core fundamentals that embody our renewed vision—one born from the growth of Team-X—and inspired new, concrete initiatives that enrich our foundational practices.

Training our leaders with the Culture Camp

We launched a Culture Camp to equip our managers with tools aligned to our newly redefined values and fundamentals. Through hands-on experiential labs spread over several weeks, our executive team and 45 clinic directors rediscovered the Team-X vision and explored practical levers for leadership, recognition, and psychological safety.

These themes were all addressed with a common goal in mind: to become the best rehabilitation employer in Quebec—through inspiring leadership that fosters team fulfillment and amplifies our health impact.

A promising future for our Team-X

At PhysioExtra, we are building our future together. With a shared ambition to increase our health impact in the coming years, we encourage every member of Team-X to actively contribute to this vision. Our inclusive and caring culture is rooted in innovation, well-being, and individual development—making PhysioExtra a truly fulfilling place to work and grow.
