Such a great experience getting treatments from PhysioExtra. I have never been to a physiotherapy before so I didn't know what to expect. Gladly, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist (who speaks English btw, which is important for me since I have little Quebec French in this body. =D) who made sure I was welcomed, pointed me to where I have to put my coat and winter boots, and guided me in completing an initial questionnaire form. The place also has high ceiling, good ambiance and no problems with parking space. And then there's Valerie <3 She also speaks fluent English and explained the process very well. She did an initial interview of my pain condition and gave me some tests to assess my strength. She did wonders! And I felt immediate relief during that hour of appointment. She used a ventosa-cup-kind of treatment to help regulate the blood flow of my muscles and they're effective for my situation. I did get some bruise-like patch on my arm from it but they cleared in about less than a week. I was given a series of exercises to do at home to strengthen my muscles and alleviate any pain I'll still experience. It was also in an online account so I can consult there if I ever forget. She gives suggestions on how to adjust the exercises based on your level of difficulty. You can buy the resistance band and ball to use for your exercises at affordable prices too. I have a 4-week treatment plan with 2 more to go but I'm feeling better already. It is a very pleasant experience and I highly recommend for anyone looking to get treatments for prevention, rehab or pain that's too much to bear. I wish you the same experience as mine! <3
